Still wondering if Bookkeeping Foundations is right for you?

Hi Reader,

We get a lot of the same questions before people join Bookkeeping Foundations, so let’s clear up a few things...

Q: Do I need bookkeeping experience before I join?

A: Nope. We meet you where you’re at.

Joan had only been helping a local bookkeeper for a few months before enrolling. By the end, she was more confident, faster in QuickBooks, and felt empowered because she knew where to find answers. Please keep in mind that you should expect to take more than 5 hours each week to succeed in the course if you are brand new to bookkeeping.

Q: What if I already have staff? Is it worth it for them?

A: Yes, because the course turns data entry clerks into true bookkeepers.

Christee enrolled her subcontractor Joan because she didn’t have time to train her from scratch. By the end, Joan was reconciling accounts, catching coding errors, and taking work off Christee’s plate.

Q: How much time will this take?

A: About 5 hours per week for 10 weeks. Mostly pre-recorded lessons, a few live classes & weekly study sessions.

The learning is flexible, within a given structure to help you stay on track. We see a very high level of completion compared to other online courses because of this combination of teaching styles.

Q: What if I get stuck?

A: We’ve built in support so you’re never left hanging.

  • Weekly Office Hours with your instructor, Jackie Shaw and our resident TA, Deidre
  • A 1:1 Advisory Session with JR
  • Downloadable resources to use long after the course
  • We also offer continued support after class has ended for those who want it.

Q: What if I can’t afford the full tuition right now?

A:That’s exactly why we offer payment plans starting at $179

Bottom line: Whether you’re starting from scratch, sharpening skills, or training staff, you don’t have to guess your way through bookkeeping anymore.

Hi Reader, If you’ve been feeling squeezed by rising software costs, you’re not alone. And honestly, it’s not just about the price anymore. Just yesterday someone told us: “All the big bookkeeping software options are run by companies I would rather not support. Very interested to see what you have.” For years, software companies have been pushing everything toward cloud-only, subscription-only systems. They control the pricing, the features, the updates. Even how you can access your own...
