A special offer just for you

Hi Reader,

As you know we just kicked off Winter term of Bookkeeping Foundations. I noticed that you seemed interested in the course but didn't enroll.

I get it. It's a large class and a big investment of time and money. So I wanted to offer another solution, if you're ready to improve your bookkeeping skills and understanding, but just not quite ready for a robust, 10 week class.

We are so pleased to announce that we have created a mini-course just for you! Think of it as a soft-start into the world of bookkeeping!

Introducing....

Introduction to Bookkeeping is a mini-course that will give you a good idea of

  • What it's like to be a bookkeeper - learn what it means to be a bookkeeper vs data entry clerk vs accountant.
  • The basics of how bookkeeping works - you'll learn the accounting equation, debits and credits and cash vs accrual basis (plus what people mean when they say owner basis)
  • An understanding of what the bookkeeping industry is like - as bookkeepers who've been in the industry for a while, we have a good insight into where the industry is going (it's all good!)

There are also downloadable pdfs that you can take with you to study.

We also added a bonus section for your math skills!

So if you're interested in bookkeeping but feeling a little nervous about the math and technical side of things, this introductory class is just for you.

How it works:

Introduction to Bookkeeping pulls the introductory material from Bookkeeping Foundations to give you a nice slow start into the course.

If you go through the material and are ready to learn more, you can use the price of this mini-class towards the cost of Bookkeeping Foundations.

If you decide later you are ready for Bookkeeping Foundations, you will already have a leg up and you get a discount!

We are offering this class at $100 off for this week only.

Questions?

Just reply to this email and we'll get right back to you.

Rooting for you and your bookkeeping!

Hi Reader, Let's face it.... Most business owners—and even some bookkeepers—don’t realize just how important the COA structure really is. But here's the truth: If the Chart of Accounts is cluttered, inconsistent, or misused, then the company's reports are wrong. A well-organized chart of accounts is the backbone of any accounting system. Yet many businesses struggle with messy books because it's not always clear HOW to clean things up so they make sense to the business owner AND still comply...
