BJB 26.2 Is Now Available

We’re pleased to announce the release of Brass Jacks Bookkeeper 26.2.

One of the most important enhancements in this update is a new way to manage multiple companies.

Each company can now be stored in its own separate database, making it easier for accountants and bookkeepers to move between client files while keeping each company’s records clearly separated.

Along with this enhancement, BJB is now available in three license options:

Tier 1 License - $249

- Manage up to 6 company files

Tier 2 License - $399

- Manage up to 12 company files

Tier 3 License - $599

- Manage an unlimited number of company files

Every license includes the same Brass Jacks Bookkeeper features. The only difference is the number of company files you can create.

Also Included in BJB 26.2

The update includes several reporting, payroll, printing, and usability improvements, including:

• Payroll deposits recorded as ACH/EFT transactions
• Updated Home Screen
• Cash transactions replaced with ACH/EFT tranasctions
• Separate Other Revenue and Other Expenses sections on Profit & Loss reports
• Date ranges added to Trial Balance Item report headers
• Print-layout adjustments for Forms 940 and 941
• Improvements to purchase-order printing
• Multiple bug fixes affecting reports, reconciliations, debit-card transactions, employee reimbursements, and payroll entries

A Note for Current Customers

Current customers have been sent a separate email with instructions for updating to the TIER 1 - 6-Company License of BJB 26.2.

If you are currently managing more than one company in BJB, please contact Customer Support before updating. We will help separate your existing companies into individual databases so they are ready for the new multi-company process.
